Womello was the brave guy, he liked to do things himself so he decided to leave Dublin for a while to join his brother in a war. They both served in the army and Womello was wounded when he took part in a gun battle and the bullet pierced his leg. The wound turned out to be fatal and it was told to him that he would not be able to walk or go to the battlefield again. So, he decided to leave the Womans and return to his home village to ask his wife what he should do. He soon found out that his brother was alive in the war and decided to stay in Dublins with him. And, he was again wounded but this time, the wound wasn't fatal. In order to protect their son who was still a boy when Womello returned to Dublins. They sent him to Paris to live with his uncle and cousin, but to avoid Womello thinking that he was doing a favor for Dublins, they sent him to live in Germany with them. In order to hide Womello from his brother, they sent him to the castle of an old lady, who looked after children. As he grew up, Womello wanted to be a soldier and fight in wars but his uncle tried to persuade him to return to Dublins, but he refused. He wanted to serve in a different war instead. One day, when he was ten years old, he went to a field and was accidentally shot in the head by one of the soldiers, who was firing a cannon. Womello had been paralyzed and was living in a house for disabled persons. Then, he decided to find out what happened to his brothers and sister and found out that they had become servants in the castle of an old lady. Womello wanted to be a fighter like his brothers but the old lady treated him harshly and told him that he was a liar and that he did not deserve any sympathy. He also told him that the castle was now his and that he could take anything that he wanted. So, Womello decided to find out more about his family and he walked up to the gate of Dublin's castle. He took out a sword and when he got close to the gate, he noticed two figures sitting down.
